Fabulae Intertextae

SCAD Painting graduates present Fabulae Intertextae at Gallery Anderson Smith from May 22–28. This curated exhibition features ten artists exploring storytelling as a shared, evolving practice where individual narratives converge.

Derived from the Latin for “intertwined stories,” the show connects disparate voices through immersive visual language. Gallery owner Anderson Smith praised the "completely original" work of this new generation.

“The exhibition highlights the connective tissue that binds us,” say Directors AnnMarie Celesté and Ella Collins. By emphasizing painting as a generative medium, the show invites viewers to uncover meanings that only emerge through collective exchange.
