Tree Tour: The Living Legacy of Freedom Park

Join us for a stroll through Freedom Park, one of Atlanta’s largest parks, and the official art park of the City of Atlanta. The Carter Presidential Center sits at the center of the park, and we’ll explore how the park connects to many local amenities, including the Atlanta Beltline and Arboretum. We’ll learn about the history of this park (and its treasured legacy of hard-won civic activism); enjoy art installations along the trail; and identify some of the many native trees that make up our urban forest.
