About

About This Program

Once-a-year emergency help with utilities, medicine, partial rent or mortgage, or car payments for Lilburn-area households, when funds allow.

Lilburn Cooperative Ministry, a Gwinnett County nonprofit funded by churches, businesses, organizations and individuals rather than government, helps households facing a short-term income interruption. When funds are available, it helps with utilities, medicine, partial rent or mortgage payments, or car payments, once a year for applicants who meet income guidelines, with a lifetime limit of three assists per household. Apply in person on the first two service days of each month; service hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It serves Lilburn (30047), Stone Mountain (30087) and the Gwinnett County part of Tucker (30084) below Lawrenceville Highway, plus members of supporting churches referred by their church. It does not run homelessness relief, hotel voucher or eviction prevention programs. It also provides food and clothing.
