About

About This Program

Rent and utility help for low-income working households in 14 Atlanta ZIP codes, now by ARCHI referral, plus a food pantry and work clothing.

Midtown Assistance Center (MAC) helps low-income working households in a temporary financial crisis in 14 Atlanta ZIP codes around downtown and midtown: 30303, 30306, 30308, 30309, 30310, 30311, 30312, 30313, 30314, 30315, 30318, 30324, 30331 and 30363. MAC no longer takes direct requests for rent and utility help; it takes referrals through the ARCHI collaborative, whose application is linked from MAC's Request Help page. MAC also runs a client-choice food pantry, provides required work uniforms, clothing, footwear and MARTA cards for new workers, and gives children's clothing referrals (up to age 11). Appointments are required; call 404-681-5777 Monday to Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
