Five closures, a survey open until Sept. 13, six community meetings on Sept. 24, and a board vote set for Dec. 7. APS also promises the closed buildings will not sit and rot. The site the district holds up as proof of that was still boarded and fenced in February 2026, 22 years after it closed.
