About This Program

Invest Atlanta gap loans of $100,000 to $200,000, paired with private financing, for Atlanta businesses creating at least 5 quality jobs.

Invest Atlanta's Opportunity Loan Fund provides gap financing to small and medium-sized businesses that create new quality jobs. It lends $100,000 to $200,000 alongside private financing, each covering 50% of the project. Terms run 3 to 7 years (15 years for real estate) at half of prime plus 2%, with a 4% minimum. The business needs a 20% equity injection and must create at least 5 quality jobs with healthcare coverage; Invest Atlanta's flyer adds that the company must offer a health care and retirement plan for its management staff. It is available citywide, with special consideration for businesses in Priority Areas. The application fee is $100. To start, attend one of Invest Atlanta's monthly small business webinars or quarterly networking events, then apply online through Invest Atlanta's application portal. All Invest Atlanta loans depend on available funds.
