About

About This Program

Invest Atlanta grants of up to $50,000 for interior and exterior improvements in seven Atlanta Tax Allocation Districts.

Invest Atlanta's Small Business Improvement Grant program supports small businesses and commercial property owners in seven City of Atlanta Tax Allocation Districts (TADs): Campbellton Road, Hollowell-ML King, Metropolitan Parkway, Perry Bolton, Eastside, Westside and Stadium Neighborhoods. Tenants and property owners can get up to $50,000 for interior and exterior improvements; vacant commercial properties may qualify if the work brings them to leasable condition. At least 25% must go to exterior work visible from the street, projects must be under 15,000 square feet, and design and planning costs can't exceed 10% of the grant. Awardees provide a match of at least 10% and must show the project wouldn't happen without the grant. To apply, register in Invest Atlanta's Neighborly portal and complete the preliminary questionnaire; if the project is eligible, you'll get access to the full application. Check whether a property is in an eligible TAD with the City's property map.
