About

About This Program

One-on-one help to find, bid on and win government contracts from APEX Accelerators; in Georgia, Georgia Tech runs the program at no cost.

APEX Accelerators, first created in 1985 as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program, help businesses enter and grow in government contracting. The program is managed by the U.S. Department of War's Office of Small Business Programs and works through more than 300 offices nationwide. Counselors help with readiness assessments, registration in government databases, market research, daily bid opportunity notifications, proposals and solicitation packages, networking with buying officers and prime contractors, and some contract performance issues and audits after an award. In Georgia, the APEX Accelerator is run by the Georgia Institute of Technology (GT APEX Accelerator), which does not charge for its services. Use the APEX locator to find the office for your area.
