About

About This Program

A multi-session micro-business training program for women, mainly low- to moderate-income, with coaching, peer support and access to financial resources.

The Center for Black Women's Wellness (CBWW) runs the Women's Economic Self Sufficiency Program (WESSP), a multi-session micro-business training program that helps women become entrepreneurs and build economic security. It serves primarily low- to moderate-income women with financial literacy, life skills, business development and technical assistance, plus peer-to-peer support, one-on-one coaching, access to financial resources and networking. Everyone interested must attend an information session first. CBWW's program page says to check back for upcoming training series, so confirm the next series with CBWW. CBWW also offers one-session financial workshops.
