About This Program

Cherokee County posts all bids and proposals on BidNet Direct, where vendors register, get email notices by commodity code and submit bids online.

Cherokee County's Procurement Department handles purchasing for County departments. The Board of Commissioners uses BidNet Direct for all bid and proposal solicitations. Through the portal, vendors register and manage a profile, choose detailed commodity codes, get email notices of new opportunities that match those codes, and submit bids and proposals electronically. Solicitations issued before October 2022 remain on the County's earlier Vendor Registry site. The department also keeps a directory of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) and publishes its procurement ordinance.
