Cherokee Office of Economic Development

The Cherokee Office of Economic Development (COED) is Cherokee County's lead organization for business and film recruitment, existing industry retention and expansion, and support for entrepreneurs. It helps companies find available sites and demographic data, leads the Cherokee Workforce Collaborative to connect employers with talent, and manages The Circuit, Cherokee's first coworking space, with Chattahoochee Technical College and the Woodstock Office of Economic Development. COED is located on Chattahoochee Tech's Woodstock campus. Building permits and business licenses are handled separately by the County's Development Service Center.
