About

About This Program

City of Atlanta EBO and SBO certification for minority-, female-owned and small businesses, applied for online after getting a free City Supplier ID.

The City of Atlanta Mayor's Office of Contract Compliance (OCC) links small, minority, female and disadvantaged businesses with City business opportunities and runs the City's Equal Business Opportunity (EBO) and Small Business Opportunity (SBO) programs on formal contracts in the Aviation, Watershed and General Fund departments. First get a free City of Atlanta Supplier ID by registering on ATLSuppliers.com. Then apply for EBO and/or SBO certification online through the City's Supplier Diversity Management System (SDMS), which offers training on the application. Businesses do not have to be certified to work on City contracts as prime contractors or subcontractors. The City no longer certifies firms for the federal DBE program; GDOT and MARTA handle that. Certified firms get participation credit only in the NAICS codes they are certified in.
