About

About This Program

Cobb County Procurement Services posts most bids on OpenGov, free for vendors to join, and sets up county vendors through Vendor Self Service.

Cobb County's Procurement Services Department buys materials, supplies, equipment and services for all County departments. Most bids and proposals are now posted on OpenGov, where vendors can sign up at no cost and respond electronically; County DOT construction bids are still posted on BidExpress. To be set up as a Cobb County vendor, register through the County's Vendor Self Service (VSS) system and email a completed W-9 to vendor.enrollment@cobbcounty.gov; vendors must verbally verify their application, including electronic payment details, before activation. Cobb requires vendors to provide an E-Verify program number and date of authorization. The department holds regular How to Do Business with Cobb County sessions.
