About

About This Program

Cobb County's Economic Development Office helps people start, grow or move a business, with Business Concierge help and weekly open office hours.

Cobb County's Economic Development Office runs Business Concierge Services for current and prospective business owners who want to start, expand or relocate in Cobb County. Its open office hours, held Wednesdays from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., let aspiring and active entrepreneurs and small business owners talk through business resources and get grant applications reviewed in 15-minute appointments, in person, by phone or virtually. The office publishes a New Business Guide, visits companies to learn their growth plans and connect them with resources and contacts, and offers a demographics dashboard and a map of coworking, accelerator and incubator spaces. It also points to partners such as CobbWorks, the UGA Small Business Development Center at Kennesaw State, SCORE North Metro Atlanta and the SBA.
