About

About This Program

Loans of $50,000 to $150,000 at a fixed 5% for up to 7 years, plus one-on-one business help, for established DeKalb County businesses.

Decide DeKalb Development Authority's Small Business Revolving Loan Fund and Technical Assistance Program lends $50,000 to $150,000 to small businesses based in DeKalb County, including its cities, at a fixed 5% interest rate for up to 7 years (matched to the lease term where there is one), with monthly payments. Loans can pay for building or office renovations, equipment, working capital, inventory and expansion, but not refinancing, residential real estate development, gambling, adult businesses or liquor stores. Outsourced CFO Group runs the program for Decide DeKalb: you start with an eligibility questionnaire on the loan portal, upload your documents for underwriting, and the Loan Approval Committee decides each month. Collateral and personal or business guarantees may be required. Technical assistance before, during and after the loan comes from partners such as the UGA Small Business Development Center, Accion Opportunity Fund, the Urban League of Greater Atlanta, SCORE and Operation HOPE.
