About

About This Program

DeKalb County posts its bids and proposals on OpenGov, where vendors register to get notices and submit responses electronically.

DeKalb County's Department of Purchasing & Contracting buys goods, services and construction through its OpenGov eProcurement portal. Vendors create an OpenGov account to get notices of opportunities, follow solicitations for updates, amendments and addenda, ask questions and submit responses electronically. All bids after February 24, 2025, are submitted electronically, and formal purchases over $50,000 must go through OpenGov. Opportunity types are invitations to bid (ITB), requests for proposals (RFP) and requests for quotes (RFQ). Responses after a solicitation's 3:00 PM deadline are not considered. The department also offers supplier webinars, such as DeKalb Supplier 101.
