About

About This Program

Douglas County posts bids on BidNet Direct, free to join, and keeps a vendor list you can join with its vendor application packet.

Douglas County's Procurement Department buys materials, supplies, equipment and services for County departments. Since July 1, 2022, the County has advertised all new bid opportunities on BidNet Direct; registration is free with the Limited Access option. Projects of $100,000 or more are also posted on the Georgia Procurement Registry. To be added to the County's vendor list, complete the Vendor Application Packet (with a W-9 and immigration affidavits) online, or email, fax or mail it, and list the NIGP commodity codes you want to be considered for. County contractors must sign a Contractor Affidavit under the Georgia Security and Immigration Act. Vendors that already do business with the County can use the eSupplier portal to see purchase orders, invoices and payments and sign up for direct deposit (ACH).
