About

About This Program

Small loans of up to $50,000 from Georgia community lenders for microbusinesses with five or fewer employees and under $100,000 in yearly sales.

The Georgia Department of Administrative Services and the Georgia Department of Economic Development point microbusinesses to Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), lenders whose portfolios offer many kinds of small business loans. Businesses with five or fewer employees and annual sales under $100,000 that can't get traditional financing can learn about loans of up to $50,000 from three Georgia micro lenders, each serving its own counties: Access to Capital for Entrepreneurs (ACE), whose counties include Fulton, DeKalb, Cobb, Gwinnett and Clayton; Albany Community Together (ACT!); and the Small Business Assistance Corporation (SBAC) in Savannah. The Georgia Micro Enterprise Network (GMEN) is another source of training and lending for microbusinesses.
