About

About This Program

Get on GSA's Multiple Award Schedule, the most common way federal agencies buy, by submitting an offer at any time; awards can take months.

The Multiple Award Schedule (MAS, or the Schedule) is the U.S. General Services Administration's contract program and the most common way federal agencies buy goods and services. Becoming a MAS contract holder gives a business access to opportunities only available to Schedule holders, and unlike GSA's other contract vehicles, a business can make an offer to get on the Schedule at any time. GSA calls it a good choice for most small and medium-sized businesses: it offers no guaranteed sales, but opens the door to federal contracting opportunities of more than $39 billion a year. To be eligible you need two years in business, two years of financial statements and measurable past performance, though GSA's Startup Springboard program may waive these for eligible businesses. You must register on SAM.gov and in GSA's eOffer system, then submit an offer; the process may take several weeks to months.
