About

About This Program

Hall County Purchasing emails bids to businesses on its bidder's list. Join by sending a Bidder's Application with your commodity codes.

Hall County's Purchasing Division, in the Financial Services Department, handles all County solicitations. Businesses join the bidder's list by sending a Bidder's Application listing the commodity codes they provide; bids and proposals are emailed to businesses on the list and posted on the County's Bids and Proposals page. You can bid without being on the list. Bids and proposals of $50,000 or more are advertised in The Gainesville Times and may also appear on BidNet and the Georgia Procurement Registry, and the Board of Commissioners approves final awards. Purchases of $3,000 to $49,999.99 use at least three written quotes. To stay on the list, suppliers must keep an acceptable performance rating.
