About

About This Program

Georgia Tech APEX counselors help Georgia businesses register with SAM.gov and state and local vendor systems and guide them on certifications, for free.

Counselors at the GT APEX Accelerator, at the Georgia Institute of Technology, help Georgia-based businesses with government vendor registrations, including the federal System for Award Management (SAM.gov) and state and local government vendor registrations, and give guidance on small, minority, women-owned and disabled veteran certifications. Its online resources link to registrations and codes businesses need, such as SAM.gov, NAICS codes, NIGP codes for state and local registration, and the State of Georgia's vendor registration, along with SBA certification program guides. Help is free for clients. To become a client, attend the Introduction to Government Contracting class, fill out the New Client Application, then schedule an appointment with your regional counselor.
