About

About This Program

Free, confidential one-on-one business consulting plus workshops and webinars for Georgia small business owners, from UGA's Small Business Development Center.

The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center (SBDC), a public service and outreach unit of UGA funded in part by the U.S. Small Business Administration, helps people start and grow small businesses from offices across Georgia, including metro Atlanta. Its consultants offer confidential, no-cost, one-on-one help with business plans, finding capital, record keeping and financial analysis, marketing, regulations, government contracting and market research. It also runs workshops, webinars and group programs; new businesses can start with the Starting a Business course. Established businesses can call their local SBDC office, and new clients may be asked to complete a Business Development Questionnaire.
