One Owner Now Holds Both 112 and 116 Krog Street, With No 2027 Plan Announced

26th Street Partners bought the Krog District for $210 million in 2025. In October it added 116 Krog St., an empty 5,400-square-foot shell on the same block. One owner, one active pop-up at 112 Krog, one vacant building, and no announced plan for 2027.

About This Short

Stand outside Krog Street Market and you are looking at two very different spaces that answer to the same company. One has food, music and people in it. The other is an empty shell. Neither has a public plan for 2027.

Here is how the block came together. 26th Street Partners bought the Krog District in 2025 for $210 million. That purchase included 112 Krog Street, the former BrewDog space, which closed in March. LikeMinds has since moved in with a food, music and sports pop-up, and that pop-up has been extended through the end of 2026.

In October, the same owner bought 116 Krog Street, a roughly 5,400-square-foot empty shell. No tenant has been announced and no construction timeline has been announced.

So the picture on this stretch of Krog is straightforward enough to count on one hand:

  • One active temporary venue at 112 Krog, running through the end of 2026
  • One empty building at 116 Krog, with nothing announced
  • One owner deciding what both become

What I find useful about this is that it removes the usual excuse for a block staying half-dark. When neighboring storefronts have different landlords, the tenant mix is a negotiation nobody controls. Here it is one set of decisions, made by one company, on a block thousands of people walk every week. The pop-up extension tells you the space at 112 is worth keeping warm. The silence at 116 tells you the next use is still being worked out.

The thing worth watching is the end of 2026, because that is when the extension at 112 runs out and the only dated commitment on this block expires.
