Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport could undergo a massive $1 billion modernization, with new terminal designs and improved passenger flow. The city has already approved $310 million in near-term upgrades including a better SkyTrain and rental car center.

On top of that, Atlanta is proposing about $1 billion in additional funding to modernize and expand the entire airport. That means new designs, better flow, and updated terminals that could completely change the way we travel through ATL.
