About This Short
We recently visited Arabia Mountain Vineyard expecting to see grapes and learn only about wine. But what we left with was a feeling of peace and a lesson on what makes this vineyard so special.
Chief Experience Officer Hakemia Jackson is so full of life and gave us a wonderful private tour. From the vines to the creek, we discovered a family-run place designed for people to slow down, connect, and take in the beauty around them.
The family also shared what it means to own a Black-owned vineyard in an industry where fewer than 1% of U.S. wineries are Black-owned. Their story is about more than a beautiful destination. It is about family, ownership, and creating something meaningful right here in South DeKalb.
Arabia Mountain Vineyard is a weekend day trip more Atlantans should experience for themselves.
